Richard E. Davis and Leslie T. Fields formed Davis & Fields, P.C., in Daphne, Alabama, January 1, 1999.  Both lawyers had been with the Mobile law firm of Helmsing, Lyons, Sims & Leach, P.C. since their respective graduations from the University of Alabama School of Law.  They aimed to build a general practice law firm that provided clients, themselves and their future partners and staff with the advantages of a smaller firm, while rendering quality and sophistication of services normally rendered by larger firms.  The firm presently has six full-time attorneys, including Bradley Murray, who joined the firm in 2007, and Michael Shipper, who joined the firm in 2008, when the firm expanded with a fully staffed office in Mobile, where Shipper is the residing attorney.
